هذا كتاب مفرد يتوسع في الكلام على خصال الفطرة في الفقه الإسلامي شارحاً لها مبيناً الأحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بها مورداً آراء الفقهاء على اختلافهم في كل خصلة منها ذاكراً الأحاديث التي اشتملت عليها مع تعدد رواياتها واختلافها ليسهل على طالب العلم بل كل مسلم الإحاطة المتعلقة بها إذا أنها ذكرت في كتب الفقه مبعثرة وفي أبواب متفرقة وربما خلت بعض كتب الفقه منها أو من بعضها.
وبالعودة لعمل المؤلف في هذا الكتاب نجده قائماً على ما يلي: أولاً: تعريف الفطرة لغة وشرعاً. ثانياً: الكلام على خصال الفطرة مأخوذاً من كتب التفسير حيث تكلموا على الآية التي أشارت إلى خصال الفطرة. ثالثاً: جميع الروايات المتضمنة لخصال الفطرة على اختلافها ودراستها من الناحية الحديثية وذكر نصوصها والتعليق عليها شارحاً معانيها معتمداً في ذلك على كتب شروح السنة. رابعاً: ذكر كل خصلة من خصال الفطرة مفردة وتكلمت عليها وذكر الأحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بها كما هي عند فقهاء المذاهب، فيسهل بذلك الرجوع إلى كل خصلة منها عند المذاهب الأربعة وربما ذكر آراء غيرهم.
خامساً: استطرد في ذكر بعض المسائل التي لها تعلق بخصال الفطرة ولو من بعيد تتميماً للفائدة ولعلمي بمسيس الحاجة إليها في هذا العصر. سادساً: حاول قدر الإمكان ذكر الفوائد الصحية لخصال الفطرة كما ذكرها الأطباء ويتجلى ذلك في السواك والختان، فيزداد المسلم يقيناً بأحقية هذا الدين وحكمته وأن محمداً رسول من عند الله تعالى.
