هذه قطوف دانية، فيها الحكمة البليغة، والعظة النافعة، والقصة المشوقة، والخبر الصادق، والموقف الجريء. صدرت بآيات مباركات من كلام الله سبحانه وتعالى، وبمواعظ ووصايا نطق بها من لا ينطق عن الهوى، إن هو إلا وحي يوحى.
وأتبع ذلك بأخبار موثقة، ومواعظ مؤثرة، صدرت عن قلوب تقية نقية، تخشى الله وتراقبه، وتحب الحق وتتبعه، وتنصح السلطان وتعظه، لا تطمح في دنيا، ولا جاه، ولا مال، إنما غايتها: هداية ضال، وإرشاد حائر، وتنبيه غافل، وإيقاظ سادر، وكثير من هذه الأخبار يصلح أن يكون مادة لحلقة تلفزيونية، أو مسلسل إذاعي هادف.
هذا وقد رتب على الطبقات، الأقدم فالأقدم، فبدأت بمواعظ أبي بكر وأخباره، ثم عمر، ثم علي، وهكذا إلى تاريخنا المعاصر حيث ذكرت جهود والد الشيخ بدر الدين الحسني في استخلاص دار الحديث الأشرفية من يد بائع الخمر "يانكو"، وموعظة الطبيب الشيخ أبي اليسر عابدين للملك فيصل بن الحسين، وجهود الشيخ سعيد الغبرة في إغلاق مسرح أبي خليل القباني، وموعظة الشيخ ملا رمضان البوطي لمسؤول كبير. وغير ذلك من الأخبار والمواعظ المفيدة.
