هل حقاً فقد إبراهيم شجاعته؟ هل حقاً سلم زوجته سارة إلى الفرعون الذي صنع لإبراهيم خيراً كبيراً؟ وما مدى صحة النص الذي ورد في التوراة الذي يقول: إن النبي أوعز لزوجته أن تنكر زيجته لها، وتدّعي أنه أخوها، ولماذا تجيب التوراة بالحديث منسوباً للنبي "ليكون لي خير بسببك وتحيا نفسي من أجلك"، ورغم أن سارة قد تجاوزت من عمرها السبعين، فإن الكاتب التوراتي يصرّ على أنها "حسنة جداً"، ومن هنا أخذها فرعون ليضمّها إلى حريمه، لكن بعد أن أمهرها لدى أخيها بصداق جزيل، يقول المستر ماير (إنه كان أساس الثروة الطائلة التي تمتّع بها العبريون بعد ذلك واشتهروا بها، فأي كرم هذا؟ وأي صداق ذاك؟).
ونعود لموضوع علاقة إبراهيم بالديانة الأيزيدية، حيث يتوجّب أولاً تدعيم النظرية القائلة بقدم الديانة الأيزيدية، وعلاقتها بتلك الفترات البعيدة في التاريخ، بوصفها من الديانات القديمة التي حلّت في المنطقة، بالأدلة العلمية والوثائق والبراهين التي تعزّز مسألة الطرح، طالما كانت هناك جهات تشكّك في هذا الأمر، وتحاول أن تجد تبريرات لعرقلة تلك الأدلّة ونفيها، وإذا كانت الأيزيدية ديانة بشرية قاومت نوائب الزمان، فينبغي الإلتفات إلى القيم الروحية والإنسانية التي تدخل في عمقها الفلسفي، وفي نصوصها الشفهية وأدعيتها، ووصاياها، وبساطتها، وأن نبحث عن تلك الوشائج الإنسانية التي كانت تحكم الحياة في المنطقة بالرغم من الإختلاف الديني والقومي فيها.
