مختصر لطيف يتناول ما يجب على المسلم معرفته من الفروض العينية، في أركان الدِّين الثلاثة: العقيدة والفقه والتزكية، التي جاءت تسميتها في حديث جبريل الشهير بالإسلام والإيمان والإحسان. والعقيدة المقرَّرة في هذا المختصَر هي عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة، واحكام الفقه فيه على مذهب الإمام الشافعيّ رضي الله عنه، وبيان الواجبات القلبية ومعاصي الجوارح والتوبة كما اتفق عليه أئمة التهذيب والتربية الروحية في الإسلام. وقد اعتمد المؤلف في بحثه هذا على مصادر أصيلة متنوّعة، كالعقيدة الطحاوية، والإحياء لحجة الإسلام أبي حامد الغزالي، والفقه المنهجي على مذهب الإمام الشافعي، ومتن سُلَّم التوفيق إلى محبة الله على التحقيق، إلى غير ذلك.
ويتميّز هذا الكتاب بأنه شاملٌ للفروض العينية، سهل المتناوَل لمختلف مستويات القرّاء، ولغته عالية على طريقة المتون العلمية، مع تعرُّض لبعض القضايا المعاصرة.
