يتحدث المؤلف في كتابه هذا عن المحاماة في النظام القضائي في الدول العربية مبيناً في المقدمة نشأته وتطوره في النظم القانونية المقارنة، أما في القسم الأول فتناول مسألة التنظيم القانوني للمحاماة في التشريعات العربية، تطرقاً فيه لموقف الشريعة الإسلامية من نظام المحاماة، وللتنظيم التشريعي للمحاماة وللهياكل التنظيمية والإدارية للنقابات المحامين وبعد ذلك بين الشروط المتطلبة للقيد في مهنة المحاماة، ولمسؤولية المحامي، أما في القسم الثاني من الدراسة فعنى بإبراز المساعدة القانونية في مجال الإجراءات الجزائية، موضحاً حماية حقوق الإنسان في المؤتمرات الدولية، حماية حقوق الإنسان في الشريعة الإسلامية. القوانين الوضعية، وفي القسم الثالث والأخير تحدث عن الدراسة العلمية للتنظيم القانوني للمحاماة مبيناً دور العلوم المفسرة في دراسات تنظيم العدالة، والمتطلبات الخلفية-الاجتماعية-الاقتصادية لنظام المحاماة هذا إلى جانب تعرضه لمسألة تقنين القواعد المنظمة لمهنة المحاماة في الدول العربية.
