"كاميليا" طفلة صغيرة مدللة، تم ابتكارها لتلعب الدور المحوري في هذه المجموعة القصصية، بحيث تدور حولها كافة الأحداث، وهي من والدتها تتعلم ماذا يجب عليها أن تتصرف حال تعرضها لأي مشكلة، وهكذا ترتب كاميليا على الخصال الحميدة والتصرفات اللائقة وهي أبداً لا تقوم بأي فعل يضربها أو بعائلتها أو بأصدقائها، وهذا ما يجعل من كاميليا خير معين ومساعد للأهل في زرع الخصال والخلق الحميدة بنفوس صغارهم، ذلك لأنها تروي لهم كل حدث أو فهل تقوم به كاميليا وتبين الخطأ في الفعل ووجه الصواب، بعد تبرير الخطأ وتبيانه سواءً أكان خلقياً كالتلفظ والكلمات النابية مثلاً أو طبياً كرفض كاميليا مثلاً الذهاب إلى الطبيب أو حتى نفسيا كرؤية كاميليا لكابوس مخيف.
وهذا ليس كل شيء، إذ أن للرسوم الملونة والجذابة التي زينت صفحات هذه المجموعة دور محوري، حيث ستساعد بالتأكيد على إيصال المعلومة للطفل، ولفت إنتباهه وزع الفكرة التربوية في نفسه، ولهذا دور فعاّل في تربية الطفل وتهذيبه.
