[الممثل: إنَّ المأساةَ قديمةٌ وأبدية، محالٌ أن تزول، بدأتْ حين وُلِدْنَا، وتجلّتْ حين ابتكرنا الخطيئةَ، لقد فَشِلْنا فشلاً ذريعاً في الوجود، تحسّسُوا الخاصرة، هنالك اللعنات، في المنتصف، حيث السلالة المؤجلة، تعرف إرثها الحزين.
(الممثل يهبط الأرض، مقلداً تكوّر الأجنّة في بطون الحوامل، ويقول: في لحظةٍ عاطفيةٍ... أغرانا الوجود، وهَبَطْنا كُرماً للأمهات... آه يا أمي... آه يا أمي... أنا متورط هنا، متورطٌ في الأيامِ الطويلة، الأيامِ التي تُبعَثُ فيها أحزانُ القُدَامى المنسيين، التي تتذكر فيها الأرضُ أنها قبرُ عِمْلاقٍ، التي تتخطى من فوقِ جلدِ العُمرِ كأفعى.
أيامٌ طويلةٌ لا تنفع إلاّ للتذكّرِ، وتقليبِ المواجعِ على جمرِ المعتادِ والروتين، الرفقةٌ فيها قليلة، والتعبُ كثيرٌ كثيرٌ مثل الناس.]
