هذا الكتاب تناول فيه المؤلف البردة للبوصيري، وهي مطولة شعرية ذائعة الصيت، نسج على منوالها أمير الشعراء أحمد شوقي قصيدته المعروفة (نهج البردة).. وقد أبدع المؤلف في شرح هذه المطولة، شرحاً غاص في تفاصيل مفرداتها، وجميل معانيها، وحسن تصاويرها، ونبيل مرماها، مهذباً ومشذباً كتاب (شفاء القلب الجريح) للشيخ الطاهر بن عاشور على بردة البوصيري، وقام بتحقيقه خير قيام وأجاد في تنقيحه، مرجعاً الروايات إلى مصادرها الموثوقة، معتمداً في ذلك أسلوباً راقياً جمع فيه إلى رصانة العقل سلاسة الأسلوب، شارحاً مجمل القصيدة بيتاً بيتاً شرحاً لمعظم مفرداتها وتبيان لجمالاتها البيانية ولطافة استعاراتها وبراعة تشابيهها، فكان الكتاب بذلك جامعاً إلى ذوق المؤلف الأدبي عرضاً لغوياً معجمياً، يجني منه القارئ فوائد متنوعة إلى جانب المتعة في الإطلاع على الكثير من الأخبار والوثائق التاريخية التي تضج بها (البردة) عن أبرز ما ينضج به النبي العربي الكريم من صفات تسمو به إلى آفاق الفرادة النبوية.
