سعيت في هذه الدراسة للإجابة عن إشكاليتين في وقت واحدٍ، هما: هل جاء الإسلام عبر القرآن الكريم والسنّة النبويّة والتطبيق الرسولي بعناصر تكوّن نظاماً سياسياً لمجتمع إسلاميّ، وصولاً إلى الدولة الإسلاميّة؟ والثانية، هي: هل إنّ النظام السياسيّ في إيران بعيد الثورة التي حدثت عام 1979 بقيادة الإمام الخميني وما ترتب على إنتصارها من إعلان الجمهورية الإسلامية، يتطابق مع النظريّة الإسلاميّة في النظام السياسي، في إطارها النظريّ ومجالها التطبيقي، ثم هل جاء الإجتهاد الحديث لعلماء الدين الشيعة مطابقاً للمصدرين الإسلاميين الكتاب والسنّة؟... وما هو مدى إلتزامه بهما أو مفارقته لهما؟.
ومن الواضح أن الفكر الإسلاميّ عرف نظريّات عدّة في الفكر السياسيّ؛ وقد اخترت مجموعة من هذه النظريّات للمقارنة وتوضيح الإشكاليّتين المشار إليهما والأجوبة المقدّمة حولهما.
ولا بدّ من القول إننا اعتمدنا في هذا البحث المنهج التحليليّ القائم على دراسة عناصر النظام السياسيّ في الإسلام، ومقارنة هذه العناصر العامّة بالعناصر الخاصّة للنظام السياسيّ في الجمهوريّة الإسلاميّة الإيرانيّة، علّنا نكون قد وفّينا البحث حقّه، على أمل إكماله وتوسعته بأبحاث لاحقة...
