لقد كان ظهور علم النص تحولاً كبيراً في الدرس اللغوي، إذ تجاوز القراءة التقليدية التي كانت ترتكز على الجملة، ليفتح آفاق جديدة تنظر إلى بنية النص، وإلى التداول والتلقي...
ورغم الحضور الكبير لهذا العلم، وإستعماله في قراءة الخطاب، والإستفادة منه في قراءة النصوص، فإن البحوث العربية فيه لا تزال قليلة جداً؛ ولأن علم لغة النص يستمد كثيراً من أطروحاته من التطبيق العملي على الأشكال اللغوية المختلفة، فقد اخترنا نص "المداخلة" لدراسته، لأنه نصّ مُشْكِل، وقلما يلتفت إليه الباحثون، فهو شفاهي من جانب، ومكتوب من جانب آخر؛ وهو إرتجالي من جهة، ومسبق الإعداد ومقروء من جهة أخرى.
كما أنه يمثّل مشكلة نصيّة في مقاربته من حيث كونه (نصاً رديفاً) لا نصاً مستقلاً بذاته تمام الإستقلال، وبهذا تكون آلية الترابط بين النصّين (الأساس والرديف) - إضافة إلى ما يتلو هذا النص من ردود وتدخلات - مؤثرة في تشكيل نص المداخلة، وفي التشابك معه.
