وبهذا يكون الكاتب "نعيمان عثمان" قد ساهم في إطلاق نقاش هام ومحوري حول مفاهيم تمس الجوانب الأساسية في حياة المجتمع العربي وحيث أنه يثير أسئلة بدت وكأنها مسلمات: "في التعليم وفي الطب وفي العمارة".

وعلى هذا الأساس ينطلق الكاتب في مراجعة نقدية إلى "بعض ملامح مفاهيمنا التي أصبحت لدينا ثوابت لتبين لنا الأمركة التي وصلت المسام واللسان، وتخطت ذلك إلى ما يمكن تسميته التحول وربما الإعتناق الثقافي... ونقف خاشعين أمام التكنولوجيا ونجعل الإمتحانات المعيارية من إمتحانات الذكاء IQ إلى إمتحانات قبول الجامعة SAT وغيرها وكأنها طقوس واجبة على كل البشر... وهذا جهل مطبق بمدى تأثر الأمركة الذي استفحل أو ربما تماهي مع الذات".
