في هذا الكتاب يتناول أ.د. حسين محيسن ختلان البكري طائفة من المفردات القرآنية بغية الوقوف على صياغاتها، ودلالاتها المتعددة، وأصلها، ثم الموازنة بين عدد منها، للتعرف على الإعجاز اللغوي للقرآن الكريم، الكتاب الذي لا يأتيه الباطل من بين يديه ولا من خلفه ...
وفي هذا السياق يدرس المؤلف طائفة من المفردات القرآنية التي أجمع اللغويون والمفسرون على غرابتها، فيورد الآية التي وردت فيها المفردة الغريبة ثم يضبطها ضبطاً صرفياً، ويبيّن دلالاتها مدعماً ذلك بالشاهد ثم التعقيب، كما يدرس المفردة القرآنية بين (الحقيقة والمجاز) وهو: أن يتكلم المتكلم بكلمة يستعملها في غير ما وضعت له في الحقيقة في أصل اللغة؛ ولهذا يشرح المؤلف معنى الحقيقة والمجاز، في اللغة والإصلاح وشروط مجيء المفردة بالمعنى المجازي.
إلى ذلك، يتناول المؤلف في دراسته الفروق الدلالية بين المفردات، فيعرض عدداً من المفردات ويحاول الوقوف على الفروق الدلالية بينها، موضحاً أن "ليس في القرآن ترادف كما زعم عدد من العلماء والباحثين، فلكل مفردة معنى لا نجده في غيرها مما ظن أنهما مترادفان. ففي (عباد) مثلاً معنى لا نجده في (عبيد) وفي (القلب) معنى لا نجده في (الفؤاد) وهذا إعجاز لغوي"، وكل هذا يعود بنا إلى ما قاله إبن قيم الجوزية "قال: ليس في القرآن الكريم مجاز، فكله حقيقة ...". وهو الشيء الذي حاول مؤلف هذا الكتاب تبيانه لأهميته في حياة الفرد المسلم الذي يتخذ من القرآن الكريم منهجاً له في كافة معاملاته وعباداته ...
