Book Description
"كشاف اصطلاحات الفنون" للتهانوي يُعدّ بحق موسوعة تحوي من كل علم وفن وقد سار فيه مؤلفه على طريقة أصحاب المعاجم من حيث تبويبه بحسب حروف الألفباء، وتقسيمه للأبواب إلى فصول وقد جعل الحرف الأخير من كل مادة مفتاحاً للفصل. وقد اتبع المؤلف منهجاً علمياً يقوم على الدقة والوضوح في تفسيره وتعليقه، بعيداً عن المزاجية، فيبدأ بالمادة المصطلح مفسراً معناها اللغوي في العربية، وفي الفارسية أحياناً، ويذهب بعد ذلك مستعرضاً مقالات أهل الاختصاص من أصوليين وفقهاء وفلاسفة وحكماء، ونحويين وبلغاء، ومنطقيين وأطباء، ومتصوفة وفلكيين وغيرهم من أهل الصناعات والعلوم.
ولم يتوقف المؤلف على إيراد الأقوال والآراء فحسب، ولكنه كان يناقشها ويمحصها ويقارن بعضها ببعض، ويرد حين يقتضي الأمر ذلك، معتمداً على الأدلة والبراهين العقلية الشرعية. وقد ذيل الكتاب بتحقيق لطيف ضبط من خلاله المحقق النصوص وحدد فواصلها وفقراتها، كما وعني بتميز الآيات والأحاديث وتخريجها، ووضع علامات الوقف المطلوبة، كما ميّز الأشعار الواردة، ليخرج هذا الكتاب الحاوي لمختلف اصطلاحات العلوم المتداولة بين الناس.
