يؤرق المؤلف في هذا الكتاب موضوع مهم وهو اشتباه الاصطلاح فإن لكل علم اصطلاحا خاصا به إذا لم يعلم بذلك لا يتيشر للشارع فيه الاهتداء إليه سبيلا فطريق رجوع الأساتذة إلى العلوم المدونة والفنون المروجه إما بالرجوع إلى الكتب التى جمع فيها اللغات المصطلحة كبحر الجواهر وحدود الأمراض في علم الطب ولم يجد المؤلف كتابا حاويا لاصطلاحات جميع العلوم المتداولة بين الناسوغيرها ولم يجد المؤلف كتابا يجمع كل اصطلاحات العلوم المتداولة بين الناس وغيرها ولقد حصل المؤلف العديد من الاصطلاحات في كل العلوم وضمنها هذا الكتاب لتكون دليلا لمريديها وتسهيلا عليهم البحث فيها وهذا الكتاب تحقيق لكتاب المؤلف في الاصطلاحات.
