يقدم حسن قطريب في كتابه هذا "مفاتيح اللغة" محاولات للإجابة على أسئلة هي بمثابة المفاتيح للدخول إلى مملكة اللغة البسيطة والصعبة في آن واحد... وهو بذلك يعود إلى طبيعة العلاقة بين اللغة والإنسان، في كيفية النشوء والتطور، والدور الذي تمارسه اللغة على صعيد التطور والحضارة بشكل عام...
إضافة إلى دراسة الألفاظ والحروف وتفكيكها من حيث النطق ومخارج الحروف، مع الإشارة إلى دلالة ذلك وعلاقته مع حياة الإنسان واللغة وآلية دورها في بناء ذهنية الإنسان وشخصيته المختلفة ثقافياً وحضارياً على مرّ التاريخ.
