تحركت من مقعدها وذهبت إلى مكان واختفت ثم عادت وجلست في نفس موضعها قبالته بابتسامة خفيفة على شفتيها، لو قدر له الحب لأحبها وبالغ في حبها ولكنه ليس جديد عهد على الحب، طعن به قلبه قبل ذلك بسنوات فتحول إلى شبه أدمي، ولم تنفع الحياة بما فيها من جديد ولا حتى فصل الربيع بما فيه من روعة على التقليل من جراحه طيلة تلك السنوات، أنه ضائع ربما حمل شيء من عقده من والديه وربما حمل البعض الآخر من طبعه الذي جعله كائناً حجرياً، يريد الهروب إلى السعادة ولكنه مقيد بقيد وثيق يحبسه في الحرمان، كلما طال عليه الأمد حرم أكثر، كالمصاب بالصرع، أن السعادة لا تأتي لمن يريدها دون دفع الثمن، وأن اختلف نوع السعادة باختلاف الأشخاص وتعريفهم للسعادة، البعض يرى السعادة في الحرام، نساء، خمر... الخ... والبعض يراها في أشياء أخرى، ولكن كيف كان هو يرى السعادة، أنه لا يريد أن يرفع عينيه ليرى كيف تكون السعادة وكيف يريدها أن تصبح.
