الكوفي.. هذا الرجل الآفاق.. بحثاً عن ماذا؟ هذا الداخل عمداً إلى بوابات الجحيم.. والخارج منها مكابداً يترجح.. يمضي في الأسفار وتغيب المسافات ولكنها لتخلق من جديد.. أصدقاؤه.. أطباء -مهندسون وأساتذة في كلبات.. يفض معهم الرؤى ويفك اعتقالها.. تتعدد العشيقات لتتحد وتتوحد في النهاية.
والأرض حبلى.. وهذه اللغة.. ولكن ماذا عن اليرموك أو حطين أو هذا الذي يجري الآن؟ وعشرات الأسئلة.. تأتي أجوبتها مغلفة أو ظاهره في سياق الرواية.. وأسئلة أخرى تتوالد، ولا يعرف إلا الله مفاتيحها.
ما دام هناك ظلم في هذه الأرض، أو لنقل مادام كل شيء قد بناه قابيل خالداً في الذاكرة -من مجد وهمي أو أحزاب تتصارع أو أنا قاتلة أو..- فإن ثمة دوافع شتى تحدونا لكتابة هذه الرواية، وكل قارئ أو قارئة.. ربما كان الكوفي أو الدكتورة علياء -أو شبيهاً لهما أو ضدهما، ولا نعرف على وجه الدقة هذا التشابه أو التضاد إلا بعد قراءة النص.. إذن.. دعونا ملج عالم الرواية مباشرة ودونما مقدمات.
