هذه المجموعة من المقالات المتسلسلة لم توضح لتجمع بين دفتي كتاب لقد وضعت لتنشر في جريدة يومية، ولما كان القصد منها الإلمام بجميع دقائق النظرات أو النظريات التي صدر عنها الذين ذكروا فيها من الفلاسفة والمعبرين كما في النفس السورية من فعل العقل الكاشف. ولقد وضعت هذه المجموعة في سلسلة احتوت خلاصة دراسة عشرات من المجلدات في مخلفات السوريين عبر التاريخ قبل العصر الميلادي (المسيحي).
وكان القصد منها حفز القراء المؤهلين لاستكمال الدرس في المواضيع العديدة التي تضمنتها، والتي توضح خط الفكر السوري الفاعل في التواريخ الإنساني الشامل، وكان حافز خضر الأمين لكتابة هذه السلسلة التي استخلصها من مفكرات دونها عن العدد الكبير من المجلدات والأبحاث وكان الحافز الوصول إلى تفسير القول "إن في النفس السورية كل علم وكل فن وكل فلسفة من العالم"، وإعطاء السلسلة التسمية "زينون الرواقي" خط الفكر السوري هي لإظهار ما عبر به الحقيقة التي هي أن السوريين كانوا أول من اكتشفت لهم الحقيقة الوجود، وأن قيمة الوجود هي في تحقيق حياة إنسانية أفضل.
