يجمع كتاب "جمال الأسبوع بكمال العمل المشروع" الأحاديث الواردة عن العالم الزاهد رضي الدين أبي القاسم علي بن موسى بن جعفر بن محمد بن طاووس الحسن الحسيني (توفي سنة 664ه) ومحورها الأعمال المستحبة في الإسلام على خطى أهل بيت النبوة عليهم السلام.
توزعت الأحاديث على (49) فصلاً تناولت ما يتوجب على المسلم فعله خلال الأسبوع ومنها: في فضل هدية الصلاة في الحياة وبعد الوفاة؛ وفي تفصيل الهدية المذكورة في كل يوم من أيام الأسبوع، وفي تعيين أسماء النبي والأئمة عليهم السلام بأيام الأسبوع، وزيارات لهم في كل يوم، وفي صلوات بالليل والنهار، وفيما ذكره من عمل في ليلة كل سبت، وكل إثنين من الأسبوع، وما ذكره من خبر عن الأبرار باختيار يوم الثلاثاء للأسفار، وعمل يوم الخميس، وفضل ليلة الجمعة، وفضل الصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وما يتوجب قراءته في الفرائض الخمسة، وماذكره لمن أراد حفظ القرآن، وما يستحب من الدعاء ليل الجمعة، بالإضافة إلى صلاة النوافل، وركعة الوتر وما يقال فيها من دعاء، وعند دخول المسجد، ودعاء صلاة الصبح، وصلاة جامعة مختصرة للنبي والأئمة عليهم السلام في يوم الجمعة، وفضل الصلاة عليهم ومعناها ... وأحاديث أخرى ذات صلة.
