تعد اللغة العامل المهم في البناء الحضاري فيها تطورت الحضارات وبلغ العقل ذروته، فهي المظهر المميز الذي خص الله تعالى به الإنسان من بين فضائل مخلوقاته، فهي القوة الدافعة التي وجهت إلى الإنسانية وفتحت أمامها أفاقاً للحضارة والمعرفة.
ولما كان البلاغة إظهار روعة الكلام وأثره في النفس وإستبطان ما في النص من نواحٍ جمالية، فإن تتبُع آيات القرآن الكريم وإظهار تأثيرها في النفس، وبالتالي في تحصيل الطلبة في هذا العلم، هو الهدف الذي يسعى هذا الكتاب إلى تحقيقه نظراً لما لآيات القرآن الكريم من عظمة وإستجلاء مظهر، ودلائل واضحة، وإخبار صادقة، ومواعظ وشرائع راقية من الفصاحة والبلاغة.
وإنطلاقاً من أهمية البلاغة بوصفها علماً ذا قداسة فإن الدراسة الحالية تستمد أهميتها من أهمية المادة التي نحن بصددها، فلولا البلاغة لم ترَ براعة كاتب، وخلابة شاعر، وذرابة خطيب، وما كنت تسمع نظماً أنيق الظاهر، عميق الباطن، بل المعاني السوقية والألفاظ المبتذلة التي تعافها الطباع، وتمجها الأسماع، فهي تمكّن الفرد من صياغة التركيب والأساليب الملائمة لحال المخاطب، ليستطيع فهم ما تتضمنه الألفاظ من معانٍ، إذ أنه بمقدار إلمام الكاتب أو المتكلم بأساليب اللغة، ومعرفته بأحوال هذا المخاطب يتوقف - إلى حد كبير - ما يمكن أن يؤديه الأساليب اللغوية من معانٍ وأبعاد.
اللغة العربية واحدة من عظمى اللغات التي عرفها الإنسان، ومن أوسعها تصرفا واشتقاقا، وقد نالت حظا كبيرا من العناية تجلى في المكتبة اللغوية التي ابتدعتها عقول من أجناس شتى، ذابت في الحضارة الإسلامية خلال قرون متطاولة، وقد فتحت العربية صدرها لتراث الإنسانية الخالد، ومعارف البشرية، كما اتسعت لمقومات الأمة الإسلامية التي امتدت بحضارتها شرقاً وغرباً وانصهرت في بوتقتها حضارت الأمم القديمة، ويعدّ ظهور الإسلام حدثاً عظيماً في تطور اللغة العربية فجعلها لغة عالمية، تتكلم بها شعوب كثيرة، وللقرآن الكريم أثره الشديد في إشاعة اللغة العربية المشددة ونبذ باقي اللهجات واللغات، وتكمن عبقرية العربية في تراثها الإيقاعي الذي كان ناتجاً عن مرونتها، فقد تحدّت النماذج العليا للفصاحة والبلاغة ووضوح الأصوات وسلامة النطق، وقد تجلى ذلك ظاهراً في بلاغتها التي تقوم على أناقة الإسلوب ونصاعة التعبير والتطابق بين الدلالة والمدلول.
