على الرغم من أنه لم يكمل عقده الثاني بعد، إلا أنه بدا أشعر الشعراء "هادي مراد" ابن رياق البقاعية، جارة عروس البقاع ومدينة الشمس، نقرأ شعره، فنجده حروف بيان وبلاغة وفصل الخطاب، فيه الحكمة والفلسفة والأخلاق، يطرق به باب القلب والعقل معا، فيتدفق ماء الحياة، رقراقا شفيفا، آخذاً طريقه بخفة إلى نفس القارىء.
في قصيدة بعنوان (ذكريات الوغى) يقول الشاعر: ، "سئمت الدّني وما عليها/ ولم أبتغي شيئا ثمينا، سئلت إذا كنت الوديع/ فقلت بلى أنت الحنين، نثرنا الهوان في البوادي/ على طرق الوغى مشين، عجبت لمن كان السراب/ وصيّر هدأة رنين (...)"
