محاولة رصينة جادة وموفقة تلقي الضوء على موضوع العمرة المكية، والرد على الذين لا يقرون بوجوبها وشرعيتها لأهل مكة.
وقد استخدم المؤلف في تعزيز آرائه حول الموضوع وسائل وثائقية بالرجوع إلى أصدق المراجع الإسلامية، بدءاً بالأحاديث النبوية الشريفة، مروراً بأقوال الصحابة وصولاً إلى آراء كبار الفقهاء ممن أقروا شرعية عمرة المكي، منهم الإمام مالك والكاساني، والمرادي الحنبلي والإمام النووي وشيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية، وغيرهم كثير.
وبعد كل هذه البراهين على شرعية العمرة للمكي، يتساءل المؤلف: فما الداعي إلى القول بأن المكي، يتساءل المؤلف: فما الداعي إلى القول بأن المكي لا عمرة له؟ والعمرة له مشروعة عند الجمهور.
كما أن الأئمة الأربعة يجمعون على مشروعيتها.. كما تطرق إلى موضوع خلافي حول توقيتها، فأثبت أن ليس للعمرة ميقات زماني، وإن كانت أكثر فضلاً وثواباً في شهر رمضان.
وحول تكرار العمرة، استنتج المؤلف أن تكرارها مشروع.. ووصل إلى أن القول بوجوب العمرة خير من القول بأنها مندوبة أو تطوع، والوجوب مرة في العمر وما زاد على ذلك فهو تطوع باتفاق.
