عبد المحسن بن عبد الله بن عبد الكريم الزامل
• ولد عام 1380 هـ، في منطقة سدير الواقعة شمال مدينة الرياض.
• تلقى تعليمه الأولي في الكتاتيب، وأتم تعليمه الأكاديمي في جامعة الملك سعود، إذ تخرج من كلية التربية، قسم الدراسات الإسلامية، بشهادة البكالوريوس.
(مشايخه)
• بدأ طلبه للعلم وهو في المرحلة المتوسطة من التعليم النظامي، فلازم حلقات العلامة الشيخ عبد العزيز بن باز -رحمه الله-، قرابة خمسة عشر عامًا، فكان من أول مشايخه الذين لازمهم وتأثر بهم، وقرأ عليه في «سنن الترمذي» وقطعة من «الموطأ».
• ولازم الدراسة على والده صاحب الفضيلة الشيخ عبد الله بن عبد الكريم الزامل، فقرأ عليه في كتب الحنابلة في مواضع متفرقة من أبواب الفقه، واستفاد منه كثيرًا في تقرير قواعد المذهب وتوضيحها.
• ومن مشايخه العلامة عبد الله بن محمد بن حميد -رحمه الله-، لازم دروسه مدة سنتين تقريبًا، فسمع في هذه الفترة جمعًا من الكتب التي كان الشيخ يقرر على بعضها ويشرح كثيرًا منها في أبواب العلم المتفرقة.
• ومن مشايخه صاحب الفضيلة الشيخ عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن جبرين -حفظه الله-. ومشايخ آخرين تلقى عنهم في مختلف الفنون.
