يعدّ كتاب "لباب المناسك وعباب المسالك" للعلامة "عبد الله بن ابراهيم العمري السندي" من أشهر المؤلفات المصنفة في باب فرائض الحج على مذهب الإمام أبي حنيفة النعمان، وقد اختصره مؤلفه من كتابه الكبير "جمع المناسك ونفع الناسك" فجاء مختصراً غير مُخل حاوياً لكثير من مسائل الموضوع، وتلقاه العلماء بالقبول نظراً للطريقة التي اختارها مصنفه من كتابه ومشى عليها وتلخيصه للأقوال وتهذيبها، حتى صار العمدة لمن جاء بعده... ولما كان له هذه الأهمية عنى المحقق بإخراجه في هذا الكتاب الذي نقلب صفحاته مجرداً عن الشرح ليسهل حفظه والرجوع إلى مسائله وكان عمله في تحقيق هذا الكتاب على النحو التالي:
أولاً: قام بنسخ الكتاب على المخطوط، ثانياً: قابله على الطبعة البولاقية للكتاب، ثالثاً: عني بضبط الكتاب في غالب ألفاظه، رابعاً: علق ببعض التعليقات على الكتاب وذلك عبر إثبات الفروق بين النسخ، بيان المفردات الغامضة، بيان بعض الروايات المهمة في مذهب أبي حنيفة، إضافة مقدمة للكتاب احتوت على ثلاثة أقسام هي: القسم الأول: ترجم فيها للمؤلف، القسم الثاني: أفرده للكتاب، وذلك لبيان اسمه وأهميته وثناء العلماء عليه، ومنهج الشيخ في تأليفه... القسم الثالث: في بيان آداب السفر للحاج خاصة.
