كل شيء يذكرنا بهذا الغياب القاهر، بالتغير وعلاماته التي نستشعرها ونرقبها على أجسادنا التي تنحدر نحو الضعف والوهن، ونرعب التغير ونحاول التكيف معه لأننا لا نملك شيئاً تجاه هذه القدرية العمياء. نرقب ونلاحظ التغير في مرآة الآخر الذي عرفناه ذات يوم ضاجاً بالحيوية والمرح، وإذا به مليئاً بالندوب الجسدية والروحية، بالتجاعيد وعلامات الانحدار نحو الغروب الأكيد، حتى ممثلي السينما الذين شاهدناهم في مطلع العمر، وهم كانوا كذلك، نشاهدهم الآن، ليس لملاحظة أدائهم التمثيلي وإنما إلى ما فعل الزمن بوجوههم وأجسادهم رغم كل المساحيق والحيل التي يحاولون بها، تغطية هذا الفعل التدميري، وماذا فعل بنا؟
