يعد السرد نظاماً كونياً يحكم وجود الأشياء وينظم العلاقات التي تربط بعضها ببعض دون أن يقف هذا النظام على أنموذج دون غيره!...
والسرد ضرورة لتشكيل المدلولات وإستكمال معانيها وإستحضار تتابع نسقها المعرفي الذي يؤدي إلى بناء أنظمة الفكر ومعرفة الأنساق المعرفية وكيفية تصنيفها، فهو أداة من أدوات نقل الأفكار والقيم والأحداث، ولا سيما أنه يهدف تشكيل ماهية الأشياء وفق قواعد تتابع في إستدعاء وجودها.
وبرغم التنوع الكبير الحاصل في الأجناس الأدبية وتباينها، إلا ان هناك صلات تربطها إلى درجة تحول هذه الصلات إلى بنى تكوينية قارة فيها كالإيقاع الذي يستدعي في طبيعة إنتظامه التشكيل الموسيقي للشعر إلى النثر من خلال تعاقب الأفكار، فضلاً عن وجود الزمان والمكان والشخصيات التي تؤثث القصة التي يرويها السارد داخل الشعر بوساطة الحوار.
ومن هذا، التداخل نعرف المتكأ العلمي الذي استندت إليه هذه الدراسة فهي تسعى إلى الإشتغال بمنهج أصَّل بناءه المعرفي داخل نصوص نثرية ومحاولة إستشفافها من نصوص شعرية مع وعينا بخصوصية كل نصّ! فضلاً عن المرحلة التاريخية التي أنتجت النص وعوامل نشأته.
ونصوص ما قبل الإسلام تنهض على مرجعية شاملة شكل فيها الشعر الذاكرة المعرفية الوحيدة التي تضمنت أحداث تلك الفترة بكل تداعياتها من التناحر والتناقض والوحدة التي رصدت كل النشاطات المؤثرة في مجتمع ما قبل الإسلام، ومن هنا اكتسبت أصالتها وتفردها وقدرتها في التجاوب مع كل مستجدات الخطاب النقدي، ليكون البحث مؤشراً على مدى مطاوعة البنى النصية / الشعرية للتفاعل مع المعطيات النقدية التي تؤدي إلى تكوين علاقات بنائية جديدة في النص تتجاوز العلاقات التقليدية وهي تتحسس شعر ما قبل الإسلام وتستنطق جوانبه الجمالية وتؤكد قدرته في التفتح على أية قراءة منهجية وحيوية في التعامل مع شتى المعطيات النقدية الحديثة ومنها السرد.
وفضلاً عن هذا نشير إلى قلة الدراسات التي تناولت دراسة النصوص الشعرية لعصر ما قبل الإسلام من منظور السرد الحديث إذ قاموا بتناول الموضوع في ثنايا كتبهم، فعلى سبيل المثال نجد د. عبد الحليم حفني أشار في كتابه (شعر الصعاليك منهجه وخصائصه) إلى وجود القصة في شعر ما قبل الإسلام، ولا سيما في شعر الصعاليك، إذ توافر على قصص تجسد مشاهداً من المعارك والرحلات ومتابعة أحداثها من خلال الشخصيات والحوار والوصف ص (410- 414).
