ومن اللافت أنّ الكتاب يحتفي بتجارب شعريّة متميّزة وناضجة، بعض أصحابها من رواد الشعر بمختلف فنونه وطرائقه، كما يهتمّ بتجارب لم تزل تتلمس طريقها في عالم الإبداع؛ فقد كان الاختيار عشوائيّاً تارة وانتقائيّاً تارة أخرى، ولكن في كلتا الحالتين كان هنالك عنصر ما يستفّز الفعل النقدي، فلا نقد دون أن تتوافر شعلة لاتقاد جذوته، وإثارة فضوله وشهوته، ولا يعني هذا بسط سيطرة الناقد على النصّ، تمهيداً لقمعه، أو الإعلاء من شأنه من غير وجه حقّ بل يعني الانفتاح الواعي على بنياته البلاغيّة والموسيقيّة والدلاليّة.
يقوم منهج الكتاب على اختيار عنصر مهيمن من عناصر التجربة الشعريّة، ثم تتجه القراءة لإستنكاه شبكة علاقاته الداخليّة والخارجيّة، ولا يقتصر ذلك على الوصف والتحليل بل يتعدّاهما إلى إصدار الحكم النقدي في محاولة لبعث حراك ثقافي يساهم في إثراء النقد وتطويره، وتجويد النصوص الشعريّة، وإرجاع الأهميّة للشعر بوصفه غذاء الرّوح العربيّة التي بدأت تتجاذبها وتغزوها فنون شتّى، وبخاصة الرواية والدراما التلفزيونيّة.
