"ميلاد بين قوسين" نصوص نثرية للشاعرة هيلدا إسماعيل، تستفاد البنية النصية فيها من شعرية القص في نسقها اللغوي الحكائي والسردي المكثف، فحضورا السؤال بقوة يحيلنا إلى منطقة الوعي والتفكير، التي تتشعر داخل النصوص، وتحيله إلى نوع من الحوار بين الأنا والآخر: "هل سألنا أنفسنا من قبل ونحن نخطُّ خطاباً... أو رسالة أياً كان نوعها... لماذا نكتب بعض ا لعبارات بين (قوسين)؟؟... هل كلُّ ما بين قوسين مسجونٌ بينهما؟!!!...
معتقلٌ في عصر الحرية... أو مدنيٌ في عصر القبلية؟!... هل كل ما بين قوسين هامٌ قدسناه... عامٌ... احترمناه... او عاميٌّ خجلنا منه؟!... هل هي أسماءٌ نحبها فاحتضنَّاها... نكرهها فقد بناها... أو نخاف منها فشددنا وثائقها؟!... هل كلٌ ما بين قوسين... عبارات هاربة تم القبض عليها... أو إقتباس حفظنا حقوقه... أو إعصارٌ... أو (ميلادٌ) تمتِ السيطرة عليه...؟!".
إن الشاعرة إسماعيل تؤثث ثيمات نصها وفق قارة شعرية تتعدد قراءاتها وإحتمالاتها، فهذا التوصيف لحال الإنسان وسط الوجود يكشف عن مفارقة دلالية كبيرة قائمة على أساس التناقض بين ما يريد وما يجب أن يكون بنظر المجتمع.
وهكذا على هذا القدر العالي من الدلالات المتناوبة تمضي الشاعرة في إلتقاطاتها الذهنية الحيّة عبر مجموعة من العبارات والألفاظ التي تؤدي إلى تصرف أفكارها ورؤاها علّها تسهم في تحرير الذاكرة من عوالقها.
