وقد تم تخصيص أكبر فصلين في الكتاب لدراسة تقنيات تحليل وتصميم النظم، ومنهجيات تطوير وبناء نظم المعلومات الإدارية المحوسبة. فضلاً عن ذلك، حاول الباحث عند تأليف هذا الكتاب تغطية كل المفردات المنهجية الأساسية التي يتم دراستها في كل من مساق نظم المعلومات الإدارية (MIS)، ومساق تحليل وتصميم النظم، بحيث يمكن القول أن هذا الكتاب يعتبر عملاً أكاديمياً مفيداً ومهماً لكل الدارسين لحقل نظم المعلومات الإدارية المحوسبة في كليات العلوم الإدارية والدارسين لحقل تحليل وتصميم النظم في أقسام الحاسوب ونظم المعلومات المحوسبة.
