Book Description
قال أحد العلماء بالشعر العربي لما سئل عن أبي تمام الطائي، كأنه جمع شعر العالم فانتخب جوهره، وقال: إن لأبي تمام من الشعر الذي يتمثل به ويجري على ألسنة العامة وكثيرين من الخاصة مائة وخمسين بيتاً كما أحصاه بعض الفضلاء، وقال هذا الفاضل: لا أعرف شاعراً جاهلياً ولا إسلامياً يُتمثل له بهذا المقدار من الشعر؛ وكان يقال: في طيئ ثلاثة: حاتم الطائي في كرمه، وداود الطائي في زهده، وأبو تمام الطائي في شعره.
إن في شعر أبي تمام جميع المقاصد والأنواع الشعرية تقريباً ففيه: المديح، والهجاء، والوصف، والغزل، والعتاب، والرثاء، والفخر والحماسة، والتصوف، والحكم، والإعتذار، والإستنجاز، والإعراض، والصفح وغيرها، وفي كل هذه المقاصد والأنواع، يذكر أبو تمام الكثير من الرجال الأعلام المعاصرة له، أو السابقة، من الجاهلية وحتى عصره.
هذا الكتاب "تراجم الأعلام فيما ورد في شعر أبي تمام" يقدم التعريف الكامل لكل رجال الأعلام التي وردت في شعره، كما يقدم شرحاً لمناسبة القصيدة، والتعريف بالمعاني التي تناولها الشاعر، وما قيل شعراً أو نثراً في هذا المعنى، وإذا أشار الشاعر إلى حادثة أو آبدة من آوابد العرب، شرحها وأفاض في شرحها، مع ذكر كل ما قيل نثراً وشعراً حولها.
بهذا يكون هذا الكتاب مغنياً عن الكثير من المعاجم والمصادر والمراجع اللغوية والتاريخية التي يحتاج إليها القارئ العادي، أو الدارس أو الباحث الأكاديمي في شعر أبي تمام.
