احتوى هذا الكتاب على خمسة فصول هي الأعداد المركبة، والقطوع المخروطية، والتفاضل، والتكامل، والإحتمالات.
بني فصل الأعداد المركبة إعتماداً على خلفية الطالب العلمية في كيفية بناء الأعداد الطبيعية والنسبية وغير النسبية والأعداد الحقيقية، أي إنشاء مجموعة جديدة من الأعداد تحتوي مجموعة الأعداد الحقيقية.
أما فصل القطوع المخروطية فقد تضمن عرض موضوع القطع المكافئ، والقطع الناقص، والقطع الزائد.
وأما فصل التفاضل فقد تناول قواعد المشتقة للدوال الجبرية، وغايات الدوال المثلثية ومشتقاتها وتخلل ذلك تطبيقات فيزياوية وهندسية على المشتقة، والمعدلات الزمنية، والقيم العظمى والصغرى المحلية وتطبيقات على هذه القيم، كما تمت الإفادة من المشتقة في رسم الدول ودراسة سلوك الدالة.
أما فصل التكامل فقد عرض على أساس إن التكامل غير المحدد هو إرجاع الدالة المشتقة إلى الدالة الأصلية قبل الإشتقاق وإستنتاج قواعد إيجاد التكامل غير المحدد وثم تكامل الدوال المثلثية التي لا يفضي تكاملها إلى دوال لوغارتمية.
كما تضمن هذا الفصل تطبيقات على التكامل غير المحدد فيزياوية وهندسية، ثم عرض موضوع التكامل المحدد وتطبيقات هندسية وفيزياوية عليه.
أما فصل الإحتمالات فقد تضمن التعريف بعض المصطلحات مثل فضاء العينة، التجربة، الحادث، تقاطع وإتحاد الحوادث وطرق وقوع حادث بإستخدام مبدأ العدّ والتباديل والتوافيق ودالة الإحتمال وخواصها.
وفي نهاية كل فصل وضعت إختبارات الكتب المفتوحة (Open books Exam) وإختبارات الكتب المغلقة (Close books Exam) فضلاً عن التمارين المتعلقة بكل فصل وعينات للإختبار الذاتي.
