وجهاز الاستخبارات كما هو معلوم، يكتسب أهمية خاصة في الجيوش جميعاً، ذلك أنه صمام الأمان، وعين الدولة التي لا تغفل.. غير أنه في إسرائيل بالذات، يتعدى جهاز الاستخبارات، بجميع فروعه، الأهمية المتعارف عليها، لأن الصهيونية، فقد أنيطت به أغراض استعمارية، يسعى إلى تحقيقها، وهي في كل الأحوال تصب في قنوات الأهداف التي تعمل الصهيونية العالمية، ممثلة بإسرائيل، على تحقيقها..
على أن الخوف يظل قاسماً مشتركاً، يجتمع عليه الإسرائيليون، من مستقبل مظلم رسمه زعماؤهم ورسخوه في أذهانهم، ليظلوا تحت السلاح أربعاً وعشرين ساعة في اليوم، دون أن يلجأ أحدهم بالشكوى، لدرء الأخطار المحدقة بهم و"بدولة الحرية والديمقراطية" كما زين لهم.
ومع ذلك تبقى أبحاث الكتاب ومادته، مصدراً علمياً، يشكل رافدا مهماً يمكن للعسكريين المتخصصين العرب، أن يطلعوا من خلال ها على الفكر الإسرائيلي وتوجهاته الاستخبارية، ونعتقد أن لا ضير في تحويلها إلى مساقات تدرس للقادة العسكريين العرب الذين سيجدون فيها من الفائدة الشيء الكثير، إذ أن ينابيع العلم ينبغي ارتيادها حتى لو كانت لدى الأعداء، وتكون الحاجة أكثر إلحاحاً إذا كان هؤلاء الأعداء إسرائيليين.
