يختص هذا الكتاب بدراسة علم المغناطيسية والتيار المتردد وقد اعتمدت في إعداد هذا الكتاب على ترجمة الوحدة الرابعة من كتاب الفيزياء للعلوم والهندسة مع الفيزياء الحديثة Physics for Scientists and Engineers للمؤلف ريموند سيروي Raymond A. Serway.
هذا الكتاب موجه لطلبة الفيزياء والهندسة وكل الدارسين والمهتمين في مجال المغناطيسية والتيار المتردد، ولقد راعيت أن يكون أسلوب الشرح واضح وميسر مدعماً بالشروحات والأمثلة المحلولة بخطوات واضحة ومتسلسلة.
