يعد هذا الكتاب في الكهربائية المغناطيسية لبنة يضيفها المؤلف إلى الصرح الذي شيده المؤلفين بهذا المضمار، وقد ركز المؤلف في كتابه على الكهربائية الساكنة والتيارية إضافة إلى موضوع المغناطيسية وأخيراً الكهربائية المتغيرة، كما ناقش أهم المواضيع التي يحتاج إليها طالب الدراسة الجامعية لهذه المادة، علماً بأن طلبة التوجيهي (السادس العلمي) يمكنهم الإستفادة من الكتاب في بعض المواضيع لإثراء معلوماتهم.
وقد قسم الكتاب إلى أربعة أجزاء أول جزء خص الكهربائية الساكنة، أما الجزء الثاني فخص التيار الكهربائي، الجزء الثالث ركز على المغناطيسية، وأخيراً الجزء الرابع الذي خصص للحث الكهرومغناطيسي والتيار المتردد.
وقد جاء توزيع الفصول وفق ما يلي: الفصل الاول: "الشحنة الكهربائية"، الفصل الثاني: "القوة الكهربائية والمجال الكهربائي"، الفصل الثالث: "قانون جاوس"، الفصل الرابع: "الجهد الكهربائي"، الفصل الخامس: "الشحنات المحتثة"، الفصل السادس: "الكهربائية التيارية وقاون اوم"، الفصل السابع: "دوائر التيار المستمر"، الفصل الثامن: "المجالات المغناطيسية"، الفصل التاسع: "المجالات المغاطيسية الناتجة عن التيارات"، الفصل العاشر: "الصفات المفاطيسية للمواد والدارات المغناطيسية"، الفصل الحادي عشر: "الحث الكهرمفاطيسي والتيار المتردد"، الفصل الثاني عشر: "دوائر التيار المتردد".
