Book Description
إن الماغوط كاتب مبدع في عدة حقول أدبية منهاك المقالة، والمسرحية، والشعر والسيناريو، ولعل أهم معالم إبداعه في كل هذه الحقول هي السخرية السوادء اللاذعة والتي تشكل المبالغة أحد عناصرها الأساسية.
من أهم مجموعاته الشعرية: (حزن في ضوء القمر)، (غرفة بملايين الجدران)، (الفرح ليس مهنتي)، ومن أهم مجموعاته النثرية: (سأخون وطني)، (سيّاف الزهور)، (شرق عدن - غرب الله)، (البدوي الأحمر)، كما واشتهرت له العديد من المسرحيات وبالأخص مسرحياته المشتركة مع الفنان دريد لحام؛ (ضيعة تشرين)، (غربة)، (كاسك يا وطن)، (شقائق النعمان)، ومن أعماله السينمائية والتلفزيونية: (الحدود)، (التقرير)، (حكايا الليل)، (وادي المسك).
يقول الماغوط عن بداياته: حين كتبت قصيدتي (القتل) لم أكن أعلم أنها "شعر"، كنت أكتب معاناتي في السجن فقط لا غير، وفي إحدى جلسات مجلة "شعر" قرأ أدونيس قصيدتي بحضور يوسف الخال، وأنسي الحاج، والرحابنة، دون أن يعلن عن اسمي، ترك المستمعين يتخبطون (بودلير؟... رامبو) لكن، ادونيس لم يلبث ان أشار إليّ، وقال: "هذا هو الشاعر".
يعتبر الماغوط أن أجمل ما في الحياة: الشعر والحبّ فهما قطبا الحياة، وبدونهما لا يستقيم الوجود، وأما أسلوبه الشعري والأدبي فيتصف بالتركيز الشديد المشحون بالتوتر الحاد وببراءة اللغة النضرة البعيدة عن الإنشائية والمترادفات اللغوية.
يضم الكتاب أهم المحطات في حياة وإبداع الماغوط بالإضافة إلى مختارات شعرية ونثرية ولقاءات مع الشاعر.
