هذا كتاب السبع الموبقات "السحر" يقدم للقارئ العربي، مختصراً فيه عالم السحر والشعوذة، هذا العالم العجيب الغريب الغامض، بصفحات قليلة، وجمل مضغوظة، قدر الإمكان، وذلك بغية أن يصل الكتاب إلى القارئ بأرخص الأثمان.
هذا وتركيز اهتمام المؤلف على موضوع السحر، ينبع من رغبته في توضيح الصورة المهزوزة، والتي يراها ضبابية عند كثير من الناس، وخاصة العامة وأشباه المتعلمين.
إذا ما يسعى إليه المؤلف في هذا الكتاب هو التعرف على حقيقة السحر وأنواعه، وتأثيره على الناس، كما يسلط الضوء على عالم الجن، فيبين حقيقة وجوده، وضرورة الاعتقاد به، ويوضح للقارئ، أن الجن أنواع، فيهم المذاهب والديانات والأهواء، ويبين العلاقة بين السحر والجن.
ويتطرق إلى فرية تحضير الأرواح والاستعانة بها ومناجاتها. كما يفرد فصلاً هاماً جداً لقضية تشغل بال الكثير من الناس، وهي قضية فك السحر بالطرق الشرعية وبالاعتماد على القرآن الكريم.
كما يتطرق هذا الكتاب إلى أثر السحر على حياة الشعوب والمجتمعات قديماً وحديثاً، ويبين موقف الأديان من السحر والسحرة، ونورد بعض القصص التي ذكرها القرآن الكريم عن عالم السحر والسحرة.
ويشمل الكتاب أيضاً فصلاً عن الخوارق وتفسيراتها الشرعية والعقلية العلمية، مثل الرؤية عبر المسافات البعيدة الشاسعة، وقراءة الأفكار والتأثير بواسطة التركيز الفكري، وموضوع الحسد، والتنويم المغناطيسي.
وهذا الكتاب هو واحد من سلسلة سبعة كتب، تتناول الموبقات السبع، التي أشار إليها حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
