يعالج هذا الكتاب أثر التناسب الصوتي في الإعراب، ويقصد بالتناسب الصوتي إحداث مماثلة بين أصوات اللغة في سياق لغوي واحد على مستوى الصوائت قصيرة أو طويلة، أو الصوامت أو الصيغ أو التراكيب، هذه المماثلة تؤدي إلى تغيير بعض الصيغ بتغيير في بعض الصوامت أو الصوائت قصيرة أو طويلة، أو تغيير الحركة الإعرابية لتماثل حركة إعرابية أو غير إعرابية( ... ) مثل ورود بعض القراءات القرآنية التي سقطت منها حركة الإعراب واستبدلت بها حركة أخرى لتناسب حركة عنصر آخر في السياق اللغوي (...) وهكذا مما يظهر فيه أثر التناسب الصوتي والإنسجام بين عناصر التركيب ومكوناته، ومن هنا فإن هذا البحث يحاول أن يقف على مظاهر هذه المؤثرات، ويقدم نماذج منها محللاً إياها، مبيّناً أثر التناسب الصوتي فيها، خلال نماذج من آيات القرآن الكريم بقراءاته المختلفة.
ومن أجل الوصول إلى تحقيق هذا الهدف قسّم الكاتب عمله إلى خمسة فصول وخاتمة: الفصل الأول: أثر التناسب الصوتي في طرح العلامة الإعرابية، وأما الفصل الثاني ففيه بيان اثر التناسب الصوتي في "صرف الممنوع من الصرف"، وتولى الفصل الثالث بيان اثر التناسب الصوتي في حذف أحد عناصر التركيب ومكوناته، سواء أكان المحذوف مفعولاً به ضميراً أم إسماً ظاهراً، أم كان عائد الصلة أم لا ... وأما الفصل الرابع فتطرّق إلى بيان "أثر التناسب الصوتي في ترجيح إعراب على آخر". ثم جاء الفصل الخامس مبيّناً أثر التناسب الصوتي في ترجيح عامل على آخر ...
