اعتمد المؤلف على إحصائيات دقيقة من وزارة العمل، ومقابلات مع وزيرها، ومشاهدات شخصية في أنحاء المملكة، وحديث الشباب ومنهم كاتب المقدمة محمد الناصري الذي أضاف أفكاراً إيجابية تتحدث بلسان حال الشاب الذي لا يريد وظيفة فقط بل يريد فرصة كاملة للمشاركة في صنع ثروات تفيده وتفيد الوطن.
