إن هذا الكتاب يمثل جهدا كبيرا ومتميزا في شرح القوانين المتعلقة بالنشاطات المالية في الأردن،ويعتبر ما قدمه الباحثان جهدا علميا ذا رؤية مختلفة وخلاقة،فقد تعودنا أن ننظر إلى قوانين المؤسسات والنشاطات المالية والاقتصادية من وجهة نظر قانونية من ناحية،وإلى تأثيراتها السلبية أو الايجابية من ناحية أخرى.وفي هذا الكتاب نرى معالجة مختلفة لتلك القوانين من ناحية مالية،إن لهذا الجهد تميز واضح في توضيح الأبعاد المالية لقوانين المؤسسات والنشاطات المالية والاقتصادية ،وفي ذلك إضافة نوعية وتحليل من منظور في منتهى الأهمية ،كان قد أغفله معظم الأكاديميين والكتاب في هذا المجال. إن للجهاز المصرفي الأردني دور هام وفاعل في تحقيق الاستقرار النقدي والاقتصادي في المملكة ولكي تقوم المؤسسات المصرفية بهذا الدور لا بد لها من قوانين وأنظمة وقواعد تسير عليها وتهتدي بها لتمارس عملها على أسس سليمة، ويمثل هذا الكتاب شرحاً للقوانين التي تنظم العمل المالي والمصرفي ويطلع على الدور الذي تلعبه المؤسسات المالية والمصرفية التي تطبق هذه القوانين في تحقيق الاستقرار الاقتصادي للدولة. لقد جاء هذا الكتاب في سبعة عشر فصلا تضمن الفصل الاول منه شرحاً لقانون البنك المركزي الأردني والفصل الثاني شرحاً لقانون البنوك والفصل الثالث شرحاً للجوانب القانونية للودائع المصرفية والفصل الرابع الجوانب القانونية للحساب الجاري أما الفصل الخامس فتضمن شرح الجوانب القانونية للاعتمادات المستندية والسادس الجوانب القانونية للخصم، أما التاسع فتضمن شرح الجوانب القانونية لإيجار الخزائن الحديدية والعاشر قانون الدين العام. أما الحادي عشر فتضمن شرحاً لقانون مراقبة العملة الأجنبية والثاني عشر شرحاً لقانون مراقبة أعمال الصرافة. أما الثالث عشر فتناول قانون تشجيع الاستثمار والرابع عشر الجوانب القانونية لعمل هيئة الأوراق المالية والبورصة ومركز ايداع الاوراق المالية. أما الخامس عشر فتضمن شرح الجوانب القانونية للأوراق المالية المتداولة في البورصة، والسادس عشر فتضمن شرح قوانين مؤسسات الاقراض المتخصصة وهي مؤسسة الاقراض الزراعي، وبنك الانماء الصناعي،وبنك تنمية المدن والقرى،أما السابع عشر والأخير فتضمن شرح قوانين مؤسسات ضمان المخاطر المتعلقة بالعمل المصرفي حيث تم شرح قانون الشركة الأردنية لضمان القروض وقانون مؤسسة ضمان الودائع.
