أرقى الأنغام وأروعها تلك التي ننام على عذوبتها، وفي المنام تتابع حلماً لذيذاً. وبتكرارها عبر العصور، من جبل إلى جبل تتداخل مع كينونتنا إلى أن تغفو في أعماقنا البعيدة ذائبة داخل جذورنا المندسة في الأرض. وأن يستطع أحدٌ ما أن يشفها ويعيد تكوينها الأول فتلك هي المأثرة وذاك هو الفن.
في هذه الأحاديث لم يحاول الكاتب أن يتخيل قصصاً ويضمنها أفكاراً أو آراء، إنما قام بعمل أهم قد يكون فيه بعض الجدّة في عالم الأدب، إلى حد ما أو غير مألوف. فهو في الأحاديث التي يقدمها للقارىء ، يشف بعض تلك الأنغام الغافية في قاعنا السحيق. ومن ثم أعطاها منعشاً لتمحو آثار النوم عنها وجعلها تنبعث من أوتاره المخفية وتستعيد لونها، وأقنومها الأول. ثم، ثم تركنا مسحورين لهذا الذي نسمع. أيقظ الأنغام وابتعد، تاركاً لنا حرية الإستمتاع وحرية أن نصدق أو لا نصدق هذا الذي يسري في ذواتنا، وسواء آمنا به أم أنكرناه فلا بد أننا سنغفو من جديد على عذوبته إن فرحاً وإن حزناً. وحين نستعيد انتباهنا ندرك أي فن استحوذ علينا.
