هذا وقد راعى المؤلف في انتخاب التدريبات أن تستجيب لمعجم أجزاء الموضوع النحوي المدروس، وأن تتحقق فيه عناصر الأسلوب اللغوي المحكم المتين، وأن يتسم بسموّ ما يتمنه من معانٍ وأفكار، وما يشيع فيه من أحاسيس ومشاعر إنسانية. ومن الأمور البارزة الأخرى التي توخاها المؤلف في هذا الكتاب، وسمه بالوضوح والدقة في طرح الأسئلة والإجابة عنها، والرص على الإحاطة بالموضوع بجميع أجزائه، وقد اقتضى ذلك أحياناً الاستعانة بهوامش تجلي ما قد يده البعض غامضاً أو غير معلل.
