من الحقائق الثابتة الان على الصعيد الثقافي، ان النظام الثقافي المسيطر على الواقع العالمي، هو النظام السمعي البصري، فالصورة اليوم هي المادة الثقافية التي يجري تسويقها على اوسع نطاق، وهي في زمننا هذا مصدر انتاج القيم وتشكيل الوعي والوجدان والذوق. وهناك الاف الشركات التي تنافس في مجال تقديم ثقافة اشبه ما تكون بالسلع الاستهلاكية، كما ان هناك مئات الاقمار الصناعية التي ترسل عبر شاشات الملايين من اجهزة التلفاز، رسائل ثقافية تستهدف تغريب المواطنين في عالمنا العربي والاسلامي عن مجتمعاتهم، واصبحت صناعة الثقافة في عصرنا هذا من الصناعات التي تستهدف حياة البشر في جوانبها المختلفة، وتعمد الى تسطيح الافكار والمشاعر والى تزييف او تغيب الوعي. اما احدث ثورة يعيشها الانسان اليوم فهي الثورة الابداعية، والتقدم الحقيقي الان هو سباق مع هذه الثورة، ومعدل السير الابداعي يتزايد في عالمنا تزايدا مطورا، وهو ما يتحدانا في تطلعنا لتجاوز التخلف، والتقدم على طريق الابداع، ولن نكون متقدمين الا بقدر ما نكون مبدعين، وبقدر ما ننظم طاقاتنا وامكاناتنا تنظيما ابداعيا، والا بقدر ما نعد الانسان في مجتمعنا اعدادا ابداعيا، وما دامت التربية هي محور الاعداد واداته وسبيله فلابد ان تكون تربية ابداعية. وها نحن الان مدعوون- فيما يرى مفكرونا- لالان نتربى ولالان ننمو فحسب، لكن لنتجاوز تخلفنا، بل لان نتربى تربية ابداعية، وننمو نموا ابداعيا، اي علينا ان نجتاز مرة واحدة الهوة بين الامية والابداع، امية القراءة والكتابة فما زال في امتنا العربية اميون، والامية النوعية لان اكثر الذين تعلموا في بلادنا لم يربوا تربية ابداعية، او لم يتح لهم بعد ان يثمروا معرفتهم تثميرا ابداعيا.
