Book Description
"السيل الجرار المتدفق على حدائق الأزهار" هو مؤلّفٌ للإمام الشيخ محمد بن علي الشوكاني الصنعاني، والشوكاني نسبة إلى هجرة شوكان - قرية بينها وبين صنعاء دون مسافة يوم، وهي نسبة والده، والصنعاني نسبة إلى صنعاء عاصمة اليمن. نشأ الشوكاني في مدينة صنعاء التي كانت مركزاً من مراكز المعرفة، وقلعة يهفو إليها طلاب العلم، وكيف لا تكون كذلك، وهي موطن الملوك الصيّد، ومملكة بلقيس الملكة المحنكة والسياسية البارعة.
كان الشوكاني متفرغاً في مستهل حياته تفرغاً كاملاً للعلم، ولم يكن هناك ما يشغله عن ذلك. وكان في حياته الدراسية لا يكتفي بدراسة الكتاب لمرة واحدة، بل كان يتتبع بالكتاب الواحد عدداً من الأساتذة حتى يستفرغ ما عندهم من علم، ولم يكن الشوكاني يكتفي بشيخ أو بعدة شيوخ، بل هو كان دائم البحث منقباً من البارزين من علماء عصره، والمتخصصين في مختلف العلوم: الشرعية واللسانية والعقلية والرياضية والفلكية، وكان يلازمهم ملازمة كاملة ليستفرغ ما كان لديهم من علوم. دعا إلى الاجتهاد ونبذ التقليد والعودة إلى العقيدة السلفية، كما دعا إلى تطهير العقيدة وتنقيتها من الشرك الخفي.
ترك الشوكاني العديد من المصنفات، منها كتابه هذا الذي يقف طالب المعرفة والحق فيه على مباحث تُشَدُّ إليها الرحال، وتحقيقات تنشرح لها صدور فحول الرجال، لما اشتمل عليه من إبطاء المسائل حقها من التحقيق والسلوك فيما لها وعليها في أوضح طريق مع كل فريق، وقد طول الإمام الشوكاني الكلام في مسائل المعاملات، وأبرز من الحجج والنكات ما لم تسبق إليه سابق لخفاء بعض دلائلها على كثير من المصنفين.
وقد عمد المؤلف إلى اختصار الكلام في مسائل العبادات لأنها صارت أدلة مباحثها نصب العين، غير تارك ما يتميز به الحق في كل مقام.
