وهذا الكتاب يجمع بين دفتيه الكثير من الخطوات والكرامات التي خص الله سبحانه وتعالى الإمام علي بها، وميزه بها عن غيره لما له من أخلاق حميده وسجايا سوف نتعرف عليها ونبحر في عبابها عندما نقرأ كراماته بدءاً من مولده عليه السلام إلى آخر حياته الحافلة بالعلم والزهد والسير حثيثاً في مرضاة الله.
من هذا المنطلق صنف الكاتب عبد الرسول زين الدين هذه الكرامات في عناوين متعددة جاءت موثقة عن أئمة كبار ومسندة إلى مراجع هامة مثل: (أمالي المفيد)، (وبحار الأنوار)، وكتاب (مدينة المعاجز)، وكتاب (الخرائج والجرائح)... الخ. ومن هذه الكرامات نذكر: كرامته رضي الله عنه في مولده، كرامته في إنشقاق جدار الكعبة، كرامته في العوالم الغيبية، كرامته في سلام الشمس عليه ومخاطبتها له، كرامته في إظهاره القصور والجنات، كرامته في تعذيب أهل البرزح... الخ. "من كرامته (عليه السلام) في أصول الطب أنه قال: "توقوا البرد في أوله وتلقوه في آخره، فإنه يفعل في الأبدان كفعله في الأشجار، أوله يحرق وأخره يورق".
