"زليخة" عنوان يحمل في طياته رموزاً معاني واستدعاءات واستشفافات وتهويمات. ففي معناه القريب استداع لمخزون ديني، وفي معناه البعيد ورمزه استحضار لما مثلته زليخة امرأة العزيز الشغوفة بحسب يوسف عليه السلام. وبالمطلق هو استحضار للأنثى. ذاك الاستحضار هو الذي هيمن بثقله على قصائد أمل حمود النثرية النرجسية الطابع، والتي غاصت في عمق المعاني الفلسفية، وغاصت في عمق المشاعر الأنثوية لتطرح وفي ثنايا السطور قضايا ومسائل هي مثار للجدل وللنقاش، على جميع الأصعدة.
