هذا الكتاب يضم مجموعة من البحوث قدمت إلى المؤتمر العلمي الخليجي المغاربي الرابع الذي عقدته دارة الملك عبدالعزيز في دولة الكويت خلال المدة 5-7 من ربيع الأول سنة 1430هـ الموافق 2-4 مارس 2009م ونظمت الدارة بالتعاون مع كل من مركز دراسات الخليج والجزيرة العربية ومركز الدراسات الاستراتيجية والمستقبلية بجامعة الكويت. وقد تطرقت البحوث إلى عدد من القضايا والموضوعات التي ترمي إلى توثيق العلاقات بين مجتمعات المنطقة ودعمها، وتوكيد عمق التواصل والانتماء بين الإنسان العربي في مشرق الأمة العربية ومغربها، وإبراز الهوية المشتركة للشعوب العربية من أبناء المنطقة، وأثر النخب العلمية والثقافية في تعزيز حركة الإنسان والأعمال. وتعد هذه البحوث من الخطوات التي تسعى إلى مد جسور التعاون بين دول العربية في المشرق ونظارها في المغرب، وتهيئة المناخ الملائم لإقامة علاقات علمية متينة، وتنشيط مجالات بين المؤسسات والمختصين وفق برامج علمية مشتركة.
