يتعرّض هذا الكتاب لحياة وسيرة النبيّ موسى وأخيه هارون عليهما السلام فبيّين إضافةً إلى البُعد التاريخي، جانباً ثقافياً ودينياً مشرقاً، من خلال عرض الأحاديث المشتركة المرويّة عن النبيّ الأكرم صلى الله عليه وسلم وأهل بيته وصحابته وبعض التابعين، فهي تصوّر إهتمام الإسلام وإحترامه لهاتين الشخصيتين الكريمتين، كما وتحكي المستوى الخلقي والحضاري الذي كان عليه بنو إسرائيل، يضاف إليه التأكيد لأصالة وسماحة الإسلام في تعامله مع إتباع الديانات الأخرى.
كذلك سيقف القارئ اللبيب على حقيقة هذه الأسطورة: أُسطورة شعب الله المختار! وجذورها التاريخية؛ ليتسنّى له ردّ هذه المقولة المضحكة، والتفريق بين دولة إسرائيل القائمة على أساس هذه الأسطورة وبين اليهود أتباع دين موسى الكليم عليه السلام.
