هذا الكتاب من تأليف "محمد الساعدي" عن المفكر السيّد "عبد الرحمن الكواكبي" ذلك الرجل الذي يعدّ من أبرز رجال الإصلاح في العالم الإسلامي، فمواقفه الشجاعة وآرائه الجريئة وسجاياه الأبيّة لا تخفى على أحد، والذي ما زالت الظلامة تلاحقه حتّى هذه اللحظة.
وقد تناول فيه الكاتب سيرته العطرة ضمن فصول افتتح بالحديث عن نسبه وولادته وأُسرته وشخصيته، وتحدّث في الفصل الثاني عن قبس من سيرته، أمّا الثالث فتعرّض فيه لطبيعة علاقاته مع سياسة عصره وأذنابهم، وتناول في الفصل الرابع رحلاته وأسفاره، وفي الخامس مؤلّفاته وأبحاثه ورسائله، أمّا الفصل السادس - وهو أهمّ فصل في الكتاب - فقد تكلّم فيه عن أفكاره ونظرياته، وضمّ الفصل السابع ملابسات وفاته والحديث عن عقبه ومراثيه وما قيل فيه.
