هذا هو النهارُ يطلعُ على الحارة المستيقظة، وأنتَ الشمسُ في سمائِها الرملية الخشبية المتغضنة، تلغي دعواتَ الملوك والأمراء والرؤساء لتشربَ القهوةَ في حانةٍ صاحية.
الأزقةُ لم تغتسلْ وتنفضُّ القملَ بعد، والفتيةُ يتدربون على مسرحيةٍ بين أذرعٍ خشبيةٍ وقماش وأعمدة، وخولة بعيدة، مأسورة في القصر، وقصتُها المخيفةُ أسرتَها في غرفة ربما، في زنزانةٍ عائلية.
شامخٌ هنا، يعرفك هؤلاء العامةُ العابرون الدائمون في الدم، يمضون لينزفوا بضع ساعات، وأنت عروقك مربوطةٌ بنهرِ الحياة، ومدنٌ كثيرة تصحبكَ وتدعوكَ وتلتمسُّ ذراتَ نورك المتساقطة من يدك وكم دعتك المنابرُ والمخافرُ والعنابرُ والشاشاتُ وما لبيت سوى دعوة القيامة.
تخرجُ من كهفكَ هذا الحصى العتيق الذي تناثر على كتفيك تراباً وسخاماً، فكأنك حدادٌ خارج من النار.
كم يطولُ بك هذا الليلُ وإلى متى لا يحضنكَ ترابكَ ويهربُ منك أصحابكَ ويتبرأُ منك أهلك؟
تنزفُ منذ الصباح الباكر، لا كأسَ ولا سيجارة، ولا علبةَ، ولا امرأةَ، ولا ولدَ، ولا خزانة، وملكوتٌ واسعٌ من الكلمات، وعيونٌ أكثرُ من الرمل تراقبكَ وتسمع دبيبَ قلبك وتفتشُ مسوداتك عسى أن تجدَ ثعباناً فيها أو سحراً يفكُ عقدك.
ماذا تريدُ من هذه الأزقةِ ومن هؤلاء الترابيين الشاكين الصامتين الحالمين النائمين الخائفين المتشاجرين؟
ضيعتَ عمركَ في الأحلام وبين الأنام وغيرك يسهرُ ويغني ويسمعُ العودَ ويجيءُ متراقصاً في الفجر يسيلُ فتاتُ عقلهِ في الثقوب والدروب.
إلى متى...؟
