إن الكتاب هو مقاربات تحليلية في نصوص نحسبها تحمل نكت وإشارات بلاغية قمن بنا الوقوف عندها، نسعى من خلالها إلى تحفيز طلبتنا إلى الإقدام على قراءة النّصوص وتذوّقها، قراءة متأنّية موضوعية، كما نهدف إلى تزويدهم بإجراءات من شأنها أن تأخذ بأيديهم لدراسة النّصوص والإفادة منها للولوج إلى ما فيها من إبداعات فنية وقيّم جمالية يفيد منها القارئ، لأجل ذلك وقع إختيارنا على بعض النّصوص الأدبية من القطر العربي الشّقيق مشرقه ومغربه، نثرية وشعرية، كنص وصف البحر للمقّري وإلى بن بيلا ورفاقه للفيتوري، واطلس المعجزات لصالح فخري وغيرها.
ولحاجة في نفسي آثرنا إلاّ نلتزم بمنهج واحد في القراءات، فتارة أخذنا بالتّحليل البلاغي وأخرى بالتّحليل الأسلوبي وثالثة بالمنهج التّداولي، ليتأكّد الطّالب أنّ كلّ هذه المناهج يمكن أن نقارب بها النّصوص وبخاصة وأننا نعتقد أنها متداخلة وليس بينها هوة أو إنفصام، على أننا نقرّ أن لكل منهج خصيصة يتميز بها عن الآخر من دون أن يقصي الآخر، ولعل أحدهم يكون أنسب من غيره لنص ما.
تخيّرنا في هذا نصوصاً من الذكر الحكيم، وأخرى من السّنة المطهّرة، وثالثة من نصوص نثرية وشعرية لبعض الأدباء، وتخلل ذلك دراسات نقدية لغوية وأدبية على السّواء، لتكون بمثابة التّنظير ولنذكّرنا ببعض المقاييس التي تعيننا في القراءة.
ذيلنا هذه المقاربات بما يشير إلى ميادين تطبيقية؛ لما لاحظناه من غفلة وإهمال المعلم لها، والتي نزعم أنها من الأهمية بمكان وينبغي أن تولى بالأهمية والعناية، إذ الطّالب يقيّم ويقوّم من خلال خطاباته المنطوقة منها والمكتوبة، وما لم يتمكّن من إنشاء مقال صحيح فصيح سليم لن يستطيع أن يفهم بله أن يحرر محللاً وناقداً، أو أن يقف على أسرار وجماليات النصوص.
